UNWIND — a personal macro analysis website. Written and maintained by one person — not a newsroom, not an institution, not a financial firm.
People call me Meška (Bear). Not a name — a nickname. Historian by education, salesperson by profession. Not an economist, not a financial analyst, not a market guru.
But life forced me to look at world events a bit differently than most. Not to state a fact after it’s already happened and listen to twenty-five different opinions explaining the obvious. But to try to get ahead of events — to understand the real purpose, the real causes, and the possible scenarios looking forward.
This website is my personal platform. A place to gather thoughts, connect them into a whole, and share with people who find it interesting. For now, maybe six or seven of them. But that’s the point — better one place where everything is connected than separate letters that get lost and lack context.

Articles that connect macroeconomics, markets, geopolitics, narratives, and psychology into one analytical view. Each text tries to answer not just what is happening, but why it’s happening, what mechanism drives it, who benefits, and what it means in practice.
The site is bilingual — Lithuanian and English. Lithuanian content is written natively, not translated from English.
